Certified Dyslexia Specialist
Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner
I have over 18 years of teaching experience in a wide range of capacities, including classroom teacher, special education teacher, homebound educator, and private tutor. Most recently, I am the founder & executive director of Successful Students LLC, a thriving tutoring practice which specializes in supporting students who struggle with dyslexia. Working with students of many ages in public schools and private practice, has given me exposure to all types of learners, each with their own particular learning style and needs.
I am a Level 1 Certified Dyslexia Practitioner. I currently work with students using Orton-Gillingham methods and the Wilson Reading System, a multi-sensory structured literacy program. My passion is working one-to-one with students to develop literacy skills. I'm a strong believer that reading changes lives! It is my goal to make a difference in the lives of children, teens, and young adults as they become successful students.
